Scouting
Scouting at gFree Church
For nearly 20 years, gFree Church has been proud to sponsor Pack 44 and Troop 44. We believe Scouting provides a strong foundation for character, leadership, service, responsibility, and practical life skills.
Through Pack 44 and Troop 44, children and teens have the opportunity to grow through age-appropriate activities, outdoor experiences, community service, leadership development, and friendships that can last a lifetime.
Cub Scout Pack 44
For children in Kindergarten through 5th grade
Cub Scouts is a fun, hands-on program that helps children grow in character, confidence, fitness, practical skills, and service to others. The program gives kids a safe and positive place to learn, explore, create, and build friendships.
Cub Scouting is built around doing. Scouts participate in den meetings, pack meetings, activities, projects, and special events that help them learn by experience.
Meeting Schedule
Pack 44 meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30–7:30 PM, September through April.
Monthly activities and summer camp opportunities are also available from May through August.

Scouts BSA Troop 44
For youth in 6th through 12th grade
Troop 44 helps young people develop character, maturity, leadership, and practical life skills. Scouts work toward advancement through merit badges, outdoor experiences, service projects, and leadership opportunities.
The troop uses the patrol method, giving Scouts the opportunity to lead, serve, solve problems, and grow together with the guidance of trained adult leaders.
Meeting Schedule
Troop 44 meets every Tuesday from 7:30–9:00 PM, October through July.
Troop 44 also participates in a variety of outings throughout the year, including summer camp.
